Anger, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, life-stressors, self-esteem issues, and PTSD are all areas of Kelly's expertise.
The therapist relationship entails working together to achieve the goals of the client as well as cultivate a stronger sense of self through the process. Kelly's approachable, authentic demeanor is a key factor in building rapport and curative relationships. Her goal is to assist the client in connecting the dots and recognizing disruptive patterns of behavior.

Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel/reschedule an appointment. Please text or call (902)-371-3018, or email me at kobriencounselling@gmail.com. If your appointment time is scheduled on a Monday, you must cancel by noon on the preceding Friday. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full fee of $150.
Rate: $150/hr.

ABOUT KELLY
Kelly completed a B.A., Honours in Psychology at the University College of Cape Breton (Cape Breton University), then completed a Masters in Counselling Psychology degree at Athabasca University.
Kelly is currently the Adult Learning Program Counsellor at the Nova Scotia Community College, Nova Scotia where she works with adult learners who face barriers in their academic pursuits. Over the years, she has developed and facilitated many workshops in the areas of stress management and anxiety.
